Funeral services for Archie Robert Geri, 56, of 605 E. Salamanca St., who died Sunday afternoon, will be at 9:45 a.m. Thursday in Fisher Pou Chapel and at 10 a.m. in St. Michaels Catholic Church with the Rev. Fr. Charles Bordene saying Mass.

Honorary pallbearers will be Abraham Lee, Harold Lee, Larry Brannon, Lean Thorsen, Earnest Lee and Lislie Hanshew.

Active pallbearers will be William Loomis, Joseph Yorck, James Kryman, Amos Brannon, Sylvestor Yorck, and Robert J. Austin.

Burial will be in Bayview Memorial Park Cemetery.

The Rosary will be recited in Fisher-Pou Chapel at 7 p.m. Wednesday.

Mr. Geri, a lifelong resident of Pensacola, was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church and was a retired civil service employe at the Pensacola Naval Air Station.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Jennie Turner Geri of Pensacola; four daughters, Mrs. Viola Loomis of Iceland, Mrs. Rosei Yorck of Norristown, Pa., and Mrs. Mary Kryman of Jacksonville; four sons, David Geri, Julian Geri, Hillary Geri and Christopher Geri, all of Pensacola; two brothers, Malcolm A. Geri and Frank A. Geri, both of Pensacola, and 17 grandchildren.

Frank Anthony Geri, 64, died Friday at a local hospital.

Mr. Geri was a native and lifelong resident of Pensacola.

He was a retired painter and a member of the Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife, Phyllis Geri of Pensacola and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday in the chapel of the Faith Chapel Funeral Home with Father Smith officiating.

Burial will follow in New Hope Cemetery with Faith Chapel Funeral Home directing.

Active pallbearers will be Robert J. Austin, Robert L. Harvel, David Geri, Freddie Geri, Chris Geri and John Geri.

Friends may call at Faith chapel after 5:30 p.m. Sunday.

The Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home chapel.

Jennie M. Geri, 84, of Pensacola died Thursday, September 14, 1995, at a local hospital after an extensive illness.

Mrs. Geri was a native and lifelong resident of Pensacola and was a member Christ Episcopal Church.

She is survived by sons, David Geri, Julian Geri, and Chris Geri; daughters, Viola Loomis, Rosie Yorck and Mildred Brannon; 21 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 10 am Monday, September 18, 1995, at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel with the Rev. Michael Mooney officiating.

Burial will be Bayview Memorial Park.

Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Friends may call Bayview Chapel on Scenic from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday.

Hilliary Nicola Geri, 33, of 613 E. Salamanca St., died Thursday morning at his residence.

Mr. Geri was a native and lifelong resident of Pensacola. He was a member of the St. Michael's Catholic Church and a veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a local insurance agent. Surviving are his widow Mrs. Kathie Secrist Geri of Pensacola, two daughters, Jennifer Geri and Jeanette Geri, both of Pensacola; three sons Hillary Geri, Jr., Richard Geri and Ernest Geri, all of Pensacola, his mother, Mrs. Jennie Geri of Pensacola; four sisters, Mrs. Viola Loomis of Alexandria, Va., Mrs. Rosie Yorck of Norristown, Pa., Mrs. Mildred Brannon and Mrs. Mary Brannon, both of Pensacola; three brothers, David Geri, Julian Geri and Christopher Geri, all of Pensacola.

The body will be placed in Fisher Pou Chapel at 4 p.m. Friday.

Funeral services will be held at the time to be announced by Fisher-Pou Funeral service.

Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. today for Joseph Geri, 39, World War veteran who died at his home, 109 W. Intendencia street Thursday morning.

Geri, a member of the American Legion, will be given a complete military funeral at the National Cemetery near Warrington.

Father LeBaron will officiate at the services to be held at the St. Michael's church.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. R. J. Austin of Pensacola; three sons, A. R. Geri, M. A. Geri and F. A. Geri, all of Pensacola; four sisters; Mrs. Joe Simmons, Mrs. R. G. Vallia, Miss Ada L. Briggs and Mrs. Adele Herring, all of Pensacola; one brother, J. E. Bonifay of Pensacola; 17 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren.

Mr. Geri was a native and lifelong resident of Florida. He was a Aircraft Mechanic for Civil Service and a member of the St. Paul's Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife Edna Huffman Geri; three daughters, Harriet Kanon, Carol Geri Graham all of Pensacola, Mary Beth Hessler of Hawaii; two sons Eugene A. Geri of Lillian, Ala., Jerry John Geri of Pensacola and one sister, Mildred Austin of Pensacola, one brother, Frankie A. Geri of Pensacola; and 16 grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday from the Sacred Heart Cathedral with Msgr. James Amos officiating.

Burial will follow at the Holy Cross Cemetery with Faith Chapel Funeral Home directing.

Mass servers: Kevin and Stephen Geri, and John Mackey.

#1 Pensacola News, August 2, 1961 - Malcolm Geri, son of Mr. and Mrs. R. G. Geri, 605 E. Salamanca St., died last night from injuries received in an auto accident several days ago. Geri was on his way to California, where he lives, when the car in which he was riding was involved in a head-on collision. The body will be returned to Pensacola and funeral arrangements will be made when it arrives.

Funeral services for Malcolm A. Geri, 23, will be at 8:45 a.m. Tuesday in Fisher Pou Chapel and at 9 a.m. in St. Michael's Catholic Church with Mass.

Mr. Geri died Tuesday at Williams, Ariz. of injuries received in an automobile accident July 27.

The Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Monday in Fisher-Pou Chapel. The body is scheduled to arrive in Pensacola Sunday morning.

Surviving are his widow Mrs. Frances Hornsby Geri; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Archie R. Geri, all of Pensacola; four sisters, Mrs. Rosie Yorck of Norristown, Pa. Mrs. Viola Loomis of Alexandria, Va., Mrs. Mildred Brannon and Mrs. Mary Kryman both of Pensacola; four brothers, David E. Geri, Julian A. Geri, Hillary N. Geri and Christopher J. Geri, all of Pensacola, his grandmothers, Mr. Emma Turner and Mrs. Lillie Geri, both of Pensacola .

Honorary pallbearers will be James Brown, Crofton Nix, Charles Ray McLellan, Edward Dixon, Franklin Lewis and Filo Turner.

Active pallbearers will be Eugene Geri, Avery Grosskopf, Phillip Kanen, Louis Turner, Edward Turner and Abraham Lee.

Mildred R. Geri, Pensacola, died June 23, 1999 at a local hospital following a brief illness.

Mrs. Geri was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all; she will be deeply missed. Mrs. Geri was a member of the East Brent Baptist Church and was past President of the Sweet Adelines. She retired as an oral surgical nurse.

Survivors include: devoted husband, Leo Geri; daughter and son-in-law, Beverly and Larry Macon, of Pensacola; three sons, and daughter-in-law, Bruce Peer of Jacksonville, FL., Larry Gehbauer and his wife, Carol Kisthardt of Bahrain in the Middle East, Michael Geri of Pensacola; two grandchildren, Robby and Angie Orcutt, both of Pensacola; numerous other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held 11:30 a.m. Monday at East Brent Baptist church with Dr. A. Dale Paterson officiating.

Burial will be in Barrancas Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be James Boswell, Alex Freeman, Dale Boswell, Bob DiMonte, Hugh Fones, Bud Arkin.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-7 p.m. Sunday.

Survivors include, two sons, Albert Geri of Pensacola and Leo Geri, of Hattiesburg, Miss.; two daughters, Mary

Johnson and Rita Lindt, both of Pensacola, two sisters, Ida Custis and Mary McCluskey both of Pensacola, 23 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday in the Fisher Pou chapel with Father James Smith officiating.

Burial will be at Barrancas National Cemetery with Fisher Pou Funeral Service directing.

He is survived by his wife Mrs. Billie Geri, one step-son Joe Geri; mother, Mrs. Nettie Geri; two brothers, Albert and Leo Geri, four sisters, Mrs. Ellen Osborn, Mrs. Mary Service, Miss Catherine Geri and Miss Rita Geri, his grandmothers, Mrs. Irene Joseph of Pensacola and Mrs. Ellen Geri of Jacksonville, and his great grandmother Mrs. Mary Fogle of Pensacola.

Funeral arrangements will be announced later by Fisher-Pou.

Ola Lee Geri, 68, of Pensacola died Tuesday, November 12, 1996.

Mrs. Geri was born in Atmore, Ala. to Mattie Caroll and Fred Rolin. She was a member of the Florida Tribe of Eastern Creek Indians. She also served on the Florida Creek Indian Council from January 1989 to January 1993. Ola was also a health care giver for many years.

Survivors include her husband David E. Geri; a daughter and son-in-law, Janice and George Smith, an adopted daughter, Jamie Smith Geri; two sons and daughters-in law, Michael and Betty Geri and Fred and Judy Geri; a sister and brother-in-law, Carol and Leo Gonzalez, all of Pensacola; two brothers, Mac R. Rolin of Greenville, S. C. and Riley E. Rolin of Pensacola, nine grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and numerous other relatives.

Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Friday at Cathedral of the Sacred Heart with the Rev. Fr. Michael Cherup, Celebrant officiating.

Burial will be in Barrancas National Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Robert Caldwell, Chris Geri, Carl W. Morris, Bill Cutts, Greg Severt and Vond Holobuugh.

Honorary pallbearers will be grandsons.

Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.

A lifelong resident of Escambia County, she was a member of the Ensley Church of Christ.

Survivors include two sons, W. R. Gibbs, E. J. Gibbs, both of Pensacola; a sister, Mrs. Laura Yonker of Pensacola; a brother, Arthur Taylor of Pensacola. She was the grandmother of E. J. Gibbs, county tax collector. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday in the McNeil Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. William Wells officiating.

Honorary pallbearers will be John Webb, Fletcher Hinote, Q. C. Webb, Arthur Bryant, Winfred Browning and Clyde Busbee.

James L. "Gill" Gilliland , 67, of Pensacola died Saturday, Nov 20, 1993.

He was a native of Gordo, Ala., and had resided in Pensacola for the past 28 years after retiring from the US Navy. He served his country during WW II and the Korean Conflict. Mr. Gilliland later worked for and retired from the Escambia County School Board.

Survivors include his wife, Edith Gilliland of Pensacola; a daughter, Edna C. Kirksey of Pensacola; his mother, Mary Emma Gilliland of Gordo; five brothers, George Gilliland, Therman Gilliland and Dennis Gilliland, all of Tuscaloosa, Ala., Roscoe Gilliland of Gordo and Dan Gilliland of Columbus, Miss.; three sisters, Irma Quaries of Tuscaloosa, Jearidine Carver, and Opallene Elmore, both of Gordo, four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services and burial will be at 12:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 22, 1993, in Barrancas National Cemetery with the Rev. Steven Bailey, pastor of Klondike Baptist Church, officiating.

Pallbearers: Johnny Bonifay, William Elmore, William Bancroft, John Bancroft, Grady Ardis and Robert Newberry.

Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Glackmeyer is survived by his wife, Mrs. Marie Glackmeyer; a son, Edwin Glackmeyer of the Air Force, and two sisters, Mrs. M. A. Durant of Pensacola, and Mrs. Charles E. Reyers of New Orleans.

Survivors include his widow, Mr.s Dorothy Glackmeyer; one daughter, Miss Cheree Glackmeyer, both of Pensacola; two step-daughters , Mrs. Nancy Frasure of Charleston, S. C. and Mrs. Lurleen Ward of Pensacola; three sisters, Mrs. Velma McAllister, Mrs. Barbara Amos and Mrs. Bernice Coleman; one brother, Wilbur (Buster) Glackmeyer and one aunt, Mrs. Laura Harris, all of Pensacola.

The body is being returned to Pensacola.

A native of Cincinnati, Ohio she was a former resident of Pensacola before moving to Jacksonville 54 years ago. She was the office manager of the St. Vincents Catholic Hospital there and a member of the St. Paul's Catholic Church.

Survivors include a son, F. E. Glackmeyer, of Montgomery, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in St. Michael's Catholic Church with the Rev. Frank Giri celebrating Mass.

Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery with Fisher-Pou Funeral Service directing.

Mrs. Mildred Rocheblave Golay, 82, of 327 E. Romana St., died Monday morning. Mrs. Golay was a life long resident of Pensacola and a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, the Altar Society of the Church and the Catholic Daughters of America.

Surviving are her husband, Gam B. Golay; a son, Albert Golay; two grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. J. E. Daniels, Sr., and Mrs. W. W. Day, Sr., and a brother Willie Rocheblave, all of Pensacola.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 8:45 a.m. at the Fisher-Pou Chapel and at 9 a.m. at St. Michael's Church. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery.

Members of the Catholic Daughters of America are requested to meet in Fisher-Pou Chapel Tuesday at 7 p.m. to say the Rosary.

Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery.

Henry E. Golden, 83, of Pensacola died Tuesday, April 25, 1995, in a local hospital.

Mr. Golden was born in Greenville, Ala., and had been a lifelong resident of Pensacola. He was employed by civil service for over 30 years as a machinist and was then in Maintenance at the University of West Florida for over 10 years. Mr. Golden was a member of the Leonard Street Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife, Helen Golden; son, David Whitsett; daughters, Kelly Whitsett, Alpha Whitsett and Evelyn Whitsett; sisters Barbara Graves and Josephine Harmon; and two grandchildren, Morgan and Laura Whitsett.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, April 27, in the Fisher-Pou Chapel with the Rev. John Gaines officiating.

Burial will be in Bayview Memorial Park.

Mr. Willie G. Gomez, Jr., 63, of Munson, passed away Monday, May 17, 1999, in a local hospital after a lengthy illness.

Mrs. Gomez owned and operated Gomez Siding Specialist.

He is survived by his wife, Glenda Matheny Gomez; three sons, Clayton Gomez of Pensacola, Guy Gomez, III of Munson, Derik Gomez of Munson; daughter, Pamela Harp of Navarre; four step-children, Angela Schiller, Trina Odom, Shannon Gray, Rakko Christie; 12 grandchildren; one great grandchild; two sisters, Kathelen Loften, Patricia Burner.

Mr. Gomez was preceded in death by his first wife, Doris Crosby Gomez, the mother of Clayton, Guy and Pam.

Albert Gonzalez, the little son of Mr. and Mrs. Manuel Gonzalez, died yesterday morning at 10 o'clock at the home of his parents, No. 27 East Intendencia street, after an illness of only a few days.

The deceased had not reached the age of five years and his death comes as a severe blow to the parents.

Charles Gonzalez, descendant of Spanish colonist, dies at 79

Charles Fennell Gonzalez, Jr., a fifth generation Pensacolian who dearly loved the city and its history, died Monday at his home. He was 79.

I don't think you could have moved him out of Pensacola," said his son Charles Gonzalez III. "He and my mother lived in the same house in East Hill for 54 years. He didn't have any interest to move anywhere else."

Mr. Gonzalez was a great-great-grandson of Don Manuel Francis Gonzalez, a prominent Spanish colonist who came to Pensacola in 1784 with a land grant from the king of Spain.

The Gonzalez settlement was called Bohemia, now a subdivision off Scenic Highway on Escambia Bay. Mr. Gonzalez was born and raised in Bohemia.

He was a graduate of Pensacola High School and the University of Florida. During World War II, Mr. Gonzalez was manager of Defense Petroleum Craft barge projects, which shipped oil along the Gulf Coast.

He retired in 1983 as vice president of Bell Steel Co., where he worked for 25 years.

His interests included lobbying with the Pensacola Chamber of Commerce on behalf of the U.S. Navy, his son said.

"He was very big with military affairs in Pensacola. He loved the Navy," he said.

Mr. Gonzalez was past president of the Navy League, past director of the Rotary Club, past chairman of the Military Affairs Committee for the Pensacola Chamber of Commerce, and a member of the Pensacola Country Club and Theta Chi Fraternity at the University of West Florida.

When he wasn't working, Mr. Gonzalez enjoyed boating, fishing and traveling.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Morgan Holsberry Gonzalez; his son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Mollie Gonzalez; his daughter and son-in-law, Rhoda and William Warren Jr.; a brother, Harry Gonzalez; and eight grandchildren.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday in St. Michael's Catholic Church. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.

Widow of the Late Major S. J. Gonzalez Passes Away At Her Home On West Gregory Street.

Mrs. Harriet A. Gonzalez, wife of the late Major S. Z. Gonzalez, died early yesterday morning at her home at 313 West Gregory street. While she had been in failing health for some time, her illness was very short and the news of her death came as a shock to her many friends.

The funeral services with requiem mass will be at St. Michael's church this morning at 9 o'clock. The pall bearers are to be Messrs. Walker Gonzalez, Wm. R. Gonzalez, Knowles Hyer, H. Gonzalez, Jr., Paul Gonzalez and W. D. Howe.

James G. Gonzalez is Dead

Death has claimed another of Pensacola's aged citizens. James G. Gonzalez, a native of this city, a gallant Confederate soldier, has been called to his final reward. The funeral will take place from St. Joseph's church at 4:30 o'clock this afternoon. The cortege will leave the residence of Mrs. A. S. Oliver, 15 West Garden street at 4 o'clock.

In his younger days, Mr. Gonzalez was employed as a ship carpenter at the Pensacola navy yard and he had held many places of honor and trust in this city.

He was a gallant Confederate soldier, having been shot through the lung in the service of his country, his health having been broken by the injury, leaving him but a wreck of his former giant strength.

He leaves many loving relatives to mourn his demise and every man who knew him was his friend.

He had passed the three score mark in life's journey and it was always a rare treat to hear him talk of the Pensacola of long ago.

Lambert X Gonzalez, 52 years of age, died rather suddenly yesterday afternoon at this home near Bayou Chico, and the funeral will take place this afternoon at 4 o'clock at St. Michael's church. The interment will be made at St. Michael's cemetery and the pallbearers will be Messrs. D B, Charles F., Sam F., Eric and Paul Gonzalez and Oscar Kuester.

Mr. Gonzalez a member of one of the pioneer families of Pensacola and Escambia county, was for years shipping clerk at the M. F. Gonzalez grist mills, corner of Commandencia and Zarragossa streets and possessed a legion of friends in this city and county. His immediate relatives consist of a wife, several sons and daughters, while many relatives in the city survive him.

Industrious and faithful, and esteemed by all who knew him, the death of Mr. Gonzalez was learned of with sincere regret by his numbers of friends. He was born and reared in Pensacola, and during the half century of his residence at Pensacola had witnessed many changes, of which in moments of reminiscence he was heard to speak many times.

He attended Escambia High School in Atmore. According to the Defense Department, the young Marine died from shrapnel wounds he received from mortar fire.

Mrs. Laura Gonzalez, wife of Lambert Gonzalez, died at six o'clock this morning at the family residence on Little Bayou.

Mrs. Gonzalez had been an invalid for some time, but her pious and cheerful demeanor under her burden of suffering is a touching example of Christian fortitude, which all might emulate.

In the death of Mrs. Gonzalez, the community suffered an irreparable loss, by her quiet and unostentatious life, her earnest and consistent piety, her broad and extensive charities, she has left a void that can never be filled.

The funeral will take place from St. Joseph's church at 9:30 o'clock tomorrow morning, proceeding from the church to St. Michael's cemetery.

Mrs. Leonora Sheppard Gonzalez, 69, wife of William R. Gonzalez, died Sunday night after a short illness at her home at Bohemia. She is survived by her husband, three sisters, Mrs. Charles F. Gonzalez of Pensacola, and Misses Suzan and Cealy Sheppard of Skyland, N. C., and a brother, Oscar M. Sheppard of Pensacola.

Mrs. Mabel W. Gonzalez, 83, of 723 No. 65th Avenue, Myrtle Grove, died Sunday morning in a local hospital.

Mrs. Gonzalez was a native and lifelong resident of Pensacola. She was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church, honorary life member of the Florida Accountants Association, honorary life Treasurer of the Pensacola Little Theater, 50-year member of the American Red Cross and was the oldest member of the Pensacola Pilot Club.

Survivors include a son, Oliver e. Wilson of Myrtle Grove; a sister, Mrs. Christine Ransberger of Warrington; a brother, Walter Wilson of Pensacola and two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Immanuel Lutheran Church with Pastor Donald Hobratschk officiating.

The body will be placed in the church one hour prior to services.

The body will be placed in the Fisher-Pou chapel at 12 noon Monday.

Prominent Citizen Has Passed to Great Beyond. M. F. Gonzalez Dies at Home After a Lingering Illness. Had Been In Ill Health For A Year Or More, But Taken Seriously Ill About A Week Ago - Funeral Will Occur To-Morrow Morning. M. F. Gonzalez, one of the oldest most popular and successful business men of the city, died yesterday morning at 9:45 o'clock at the family home, No. 226 North De Villier street. He had been in ill health about a year or since he suffered an attack of pneumonia, from which he never fully recovered, but his condition did not become serious until about a week since.

The deceased had many friends in Pensacola. While his charities were unknown to the public in general he assisted in a quiet and assuming manner many of the poor families of the city. He always had a kind word for the needy and no worthy person ever asked for assistance from him, but they met with a ready response. He was a devout Christian, and always attended services at St. Michael's church.

Mr. Gonzalez was born in Pensacola and spent most of his life of 69 years in this city. He became prominent in business circles many years ago, and throughout his life held the confidence and esteem of the entire public. He was a member of one of the oldest and most prominent families of the city, and leaves many relatives and friends to mourn his death.

His sons are Chapman, William R., Charlie F. and Dixon B. Gonzalez, and daughters Mrs. Wm. D. Greenwood of Mobile; Mrs. Harry Sheppard and Mrs. W. D. Howe, of this city. He also leaves a number of brothers and sisters, as follows: Blake J., Celestino H., Lambert X., Samuel J., and O. A. Gonzalez, Mrs. Mary Louise Kendrick, of Baldwin county, Ala.; Mrs. Eulalie Bobe, Mrs. Emil Kuester, of this city, and Mrs. Merced D. Greenwood, of Bohemia.

The remains of the deceased will be placed at rest to-morrow morning, the funeral cortege leaving the family home at 9 o'clock and proceeding to St. Michael's church, where requiem mass will be said. The remains will be placed at rest in the family plot in St. Michael's cemetery. The following personal friends of the deceased will act as pall bearers and are requested to meet at the family home at 8:30 a.m.; W. K. Hyer, Jr., Wm. H. Knowles, F. C. Brent, W. A. Blount, Geo. W. Funeral of M. F. Gonzalez. Many Were Present to Pay Their Last Sad Tribute of Respect to Deceased.

The remains of M. F. Gonzalez, one of the most widely known and highly respected citizens of Pensacola, were placed at rest yesterday morning in the family burying ground in St. Michael's cemetery.

The funeral services were conducted at St. Michael's church, where requiem mass, was said. The spacious church was filled with the hundreds of friends of the deceased , who listened to the eulogy upon the life of the deceased delivered by Rev. Father Fullerton.

When the funeral cortege moved to the cemetery many followed the remains to the last resting place, and the floral offerings were many and beautiful.

Many in Pensacola regret the death of Mr. Gonzalez, who was an exemplary citizen and a man who during his entire life lived a true Christian life.

Mary Morgan Holsberry Gonzalez, 83, of Pensacola died Wednesday, Feb. 16, 1994, at her home.

Mrs. Gonzalez was a native of Philippi, W. Va. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leroy V. Holsberry. She moved to Pensacola with her family in 1913. Mrs. Gonzalez was a graduate of Pensacola High School and attended Randolph Macon College in Lynchburg, Va. She was a graduate of Florida State College of Women, where she was Kappa Delta. She was an elementary school teacher at Yniestra School from 1931 to 1936.

Mrs. Gonzalez was preceded in death by her husband, Charles F. Gonzalez, Jr., and her brother, J. Edwin Holsberry.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Rhoda Mary Gonzalez Warren and William H. Warren Jr.; son and daughter-in-law, Charles F. Gonzalez, III and Mollie L. Gonzalez; grandchildren , William H. Warren III and his wife, Nichole, Charles M. Warren, James M. Warren and his wife, Lizette, Robert E. Warren, Charles F.
