Welcome to Ed's Family History Web Site.   This page is dedicated to my husband, Francis Edward Myers (1944-1996). Ed died Aug. 6, 1996, from Esophageal Cancer.   My research of Ed's ancestors began shortly after his death. As all "family researchers" know, it soon became a all consuming hobby.  I am providing this web page to share the information and resources that I have encountered in my genealogy research.

WHAT YOU WILL FIND: While Ed's ancesters originated far and wide, they all had settled in Escambia County and Santa Rosa County, Florida, by the late 1880's, over 100 years ago. The majority of my research has been done in this area.. In addition to the surnames listed, you will find obituaries, cemetery info, photos, and census records for many other people living in

Northwest Florida during this time.    I have included many collateral lines when I have run across the information.

Any additions of information or photos that you would like to include on this site, along with any corrections, will be greatly appreciated.

   ENJOY!           Janet Myers
